My coworker & I registered to attend the 2008 SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management) Annual Conference in Chicago. We flew in on Sunday afternoon with the next day being our 1st day at the McCormick Convention Center. Our hotel was located about 1.5 mile away from the center and walking distance to Grant Park, the Aquarium & Planetarium. The weather was wonderful. Our newly hired coworker, Therese took me out to the Navy Pier. We went to Gino's Chicago Deep Dish Pizza - yum! It was a short 2 days but well worth it. I look forward to spending more time in Chicago!
