This was our very 1st official camping trip this year. This year and upcoming trips will be with our new 2007 Airstream Bambi! Yes, that's right, Doug went cuckoo for a 16' 2007 Airstream Intl Bambi. D has been fixated on buying a trailer and had researched a ton of info on trailers and decided he wanted an Airstream. I have to admit, there was no way I was able to change his mind on an Airstream.. or a trailer for that matter. We love to travel so this will be a whole new different experience for us. We've done a few camping trips in a tent and 1 RV excursion but this Bambi is ours for good! Say goodbye to hoshy poshy hotels... say hello to campground galore!
Our very 1st trip was just last Saturday. We parked at Truckee, Calif and stayed in a campground. We headed to Squaw Valley for a music concert and drove back to the campground for the night. Afterwards, we headed to Boca Stampede (see picturesque view) for a BBQ lunch & a nap in our Airstream. Our license plate will state: DANDB2 (Doug and Bin2). ADD our blog address into your favorites... stay tuned for new trips!
